The luxury condos at the not-yet-built Ritz-Carlton Residences in Sunny Isles Beach have snaged another wealthy buyer, this time for $16.5 million top-floor penthouse.

Construction for the 212=--unit, 52-floor project will begin early next month with now three of its five penthouses under contract. The tower, at 15701 Collins Ave., is scheduled for completion in 2018.

The developer of the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sunny Isles Beach finalized a deal for water and sewer at the planned 649-foot condo tower.

According to the paperwork, 212 condominium units will be connected.

Edgardo Defortuna signed the documents earlier this month on behalf of the developer, a joint venture between Fortune International Group and Chateau Group. Dade County officials completed the deal last week.
